This Kahlua Pumpkin Spice Caramel Mudslide is one of the top recipes on my site and for good reason, it’s so yummy! I’m a big fan of pumpkin flavor in Autumn and an even bigger fan of pumpkin and coffee combined. This boozy concoction blends the flavors of pumpkin and coffee into a delightfully smooth and creamy cocktail perfect for Halloween, fall parties, or even Thanksgiving! It’s basically a boozy pumpkin spice latté! An updated version of the classic mudslide, its made with coffee ice cream, cream, and caramel sauce…and a healthy dose of pumpkin spice liqueur. If you are going to indulge in pumpkin and coffee, why not do it in a cocktail, right?
{Disclosure: I received a sample of Kahlua liqueur to try but all opinions and this recipe is 100% my own.}
Kahlua Pumpkin Spice Caramel Mudslide
Have you heard?!? Kahlua added a wonderful fall flavor to its delicious liqueur lineup, the deliciously creamy Kahlua Pumpkin Spice! Available as a limited edition liqueur, it is delicious on its own, on the rocks, blended into hot coffee, or in cocktails like the Kahlua Pumpkin Spice Caramel Mudslide! Kahlua Pumpkin Spice contains real pumpkin, fall spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, and 100% arabica coffee and sugarcane rum.
Kahlua Pumpkin Spice Caramel Mudslide
- 2 scoops coffee ice cream
- 2 oz Kahlua Pumpkin Spice
- 1 oz. Vanilla Vodka
- 1 oz. Butterscotch Schnapps
- 3/4 c. Half and Half
- Caramel Ice Cream Sauce
- Whipped Topping
- Pumpkin Pie Spice
Mix all in a blender until smooth. Take the caramel ice cream sauce and streak it down the inside walls of a hurricane glass or similar. Pour the Kahlua Pumpkin Spice Caramel mudslide into the glass, and garnish with whipped topping, a drizzle of caramel sauce, and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.
Note: I used coffee ice cream with real pieces of coffee in it, thus the tiny black flecks in the glass.

FYI: The straw is real chocolate from Dobla Belgian chocolates. They are difficult to find in the US and the only place I know that sells them now is Baker’s Authority. You can also google Chocolattos and find a few bakers sites with a similar product by Mona Lisa.
