Many grape varieties need dry temperate conditions to thrive, but the cool wet winters, humid summers, and sandy soil found in the Condado do Tea region of Rias Baixas, in Northwest Spain, is the perfect conditions to grow the small juicy Albariño grapes found in Vintae Atlantis Albariño white wine. The albariño grapes are hand picked and pressed, fermented in stainless steel vats, racked to separate the lees (sediment), cold stablized, filtered, and bottled young.
Vintae Atlantis Albariño, a fruity dry wine, is not exactly what you would call boring. The flavor starts with crisp green apple, tangy pink grapefruit, and a touch of earthy nectarine, and ends with a zesty lemon finish. Refreshing on its own, when paired with food, Vintae Atlantis Albariño brings out the bold flavors of grilled and spiced food.
