On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…Ten Lords-a-Leaping Ale!

This drink is technically not a cocktail, but a delicious Christmas ale from The Bruery. This ale is so flavorful, it doesn’tneed any other mixers blended in!  The Bruery, a craft beer company from Orange County, California features beers for each day of the Twelve Days of Christmas, and this ale is the 10th day.  When you get a moment, give the other days a try, they have some clever  and tasty ideas.

The Bruery Ten Lords-A-Leaping Ale

This limited edition Ten Lords-A-Leaping Ale is a Belgian spiced imperial wit ale with notes of coriander, orange, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, apple, anise, mace, and clove–it has all the flavors of the holiday in one rich dark ale, perfect for pairing with a holiday cheese and nut board!  For best tasting, pour the ale chilled, with a round of orange, cinnamon stick, and star anise.
