This was one of my grandmothers’ signature summer dishes, Grandmom’s Pineapple Cole Slaw. Today, my Mom, Aunt, and Uncle make it for family parties and BBQ’s. It makes a refreshing change from regular ol’ coleslaw, and is so easy to make!
- 1 Package Shredded Cabbage
- 1 8 oz Can of Crushed Pineapple
- 1/2 c. Miracle Whip (Do not use mayonnaise)
Place the cabbage in a large bowl, and pour the can of pineapple over the top, including the juice in the can.
Add the Miracle Whip, and let everything sit about 10 minutes before stirring.
Mix all the ingredients together, and place in the refrigerator until use, or use immediately. (The coleslaw will taste better the longer it sits.)
