What do you get when you mix one of the biggest country music bands with a sweet and smooth American whiskey and a delicious fall cocktail? Old Camp Whiskey Pecan Peach Tea Sour, of course!
{I received FGL concert tickets and a bottle of Old Camp Whiskey to sample. Opinions and recipe are my own.}
Florida Georgia Line
I was recently invited by Old Camp Whiskey to attend the Florida Georgia Line: Smooth Tour in Phoenix, Arizona. Unable to attend myself, I asked my friend, Leah, a huge #FGL fan, to represent A Cork, Fork, & Passport at the concert. Leah got to meet Brian and Tyler, the duo behind Florida Georgia Line backstage before the concert (OMG!)
Nelly, Chris Lane, and Russell Dickerson opened the show, then Florida Georgia Line took the stage and performed some of their biggest hits including Cruise, Sippin’ on Fire, May We All, and Anything Goes.
Old Camp Whiskey Pecan Peach Tea Sour
Old Camp Whiskey is a new peach pecan whiskey created by Florida Georgia Line duo Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard. Brian and Tyler were inspired to create it for their “camp” of musicians, managers, technicians, and friends that share the fun with them while they are on the road. “We love a good time and we love whiskey, always have” said FGL’s Brian Kelly, “It’s a ritual we’ve had since our very first shows, toasting and celebrating with our camp before taking the stage.
Old Camp is an American Whiskey aged at least two years in white American oak barrels, with No. 5 char, and blended with the traditional southern flavors of pecan and peach. The whiskey is silky smooth with no bitterness, and a smoky-sweet spiced finish. Old Camp Whiskey is 70 proof.
What could be more southern that sweet iced tea? Pecan peach iced tea spiked with Old Camp Whiskey and sour mix! This delicious cocktail is sweet and tangy, but easy to sip, just like sweet tea is supposed to be!
